MODERNIZED COMMUNICATION

 

I plan to develop a modernized form of communication between the sheriff department and White County Citizens to inform them via email or text when a crime occurs within their community.  Its simple... Knowledge is POWER!  If you inform the people, then the people will become more vigilant.  The more vigilant the general public is; the more they will see.  This assists with the apprehension of suspects which leads to more crimes being solved.  This will also be utilized when there is a missing child or an endangered adult is missing.

 

Our county is growing more and more every day. With that growth, comes more and more crime.   Having worked over eight years with Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, I have experienced the "Big City" crime and have the training to make our county safer for our families, friends and visitors.

WHAT IS AN AED?

 

An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and can send an electric shock to the heart to attempt to restore a normal rhythm. AEDs are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) which is a condition where the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating.
